People keep saying that as if it's some sort of gotcha, but all it proves is that the rest of you should be more adventurous. Why would I pay for a hot dog when there were plenty of barely eaten ones in the trash?

Alliums are a genus of flowering plant, Kitten. Garlic, onion, chives, etc. They are toxic to cats because they cause the concentration of oxidants in red blood cells to exceed the capacity of the antioxidant metabolic pathways, resulting in oxidative hemolysis. Or, in my case, projectile vomiting.

Maybe I should talk to your science teacher.
